Invoice calculator

An invoice app that starts with a calculator

Most invoicing apps open on a form. Sumocat opens on a calculator, because that is where pricing a job starts. Each amount you add becomes a line on the invoice.

How it works

  1. 01

    Do the math

Type amounts and use + − × ÷ as on any calculator.

  2. 02

    Add each line

The bottom right key adds the amount as a line item. A badge counts the lines.

  3. 03

    Make the document

Pick Invoice or Estimate and tap the action key. Add the client and send.

No form to fill first

The numbers come first. The client, dates and taxes come after, on one screen.

Your own action key

Pick the icon on the key that turns your numbers into a document.

Totals you can trust

Every total rounds half away from zero to the cent, the same on every device.

What does the calculator do differently?

When the display holds a plain number, the bottom right key adds it to the document as a line item instead of working out an equals. The action key then turns those lines into an invoice or estimate.

Can I still use it as a normal calculator?

Yes. With an operation in progress the bottom right key is equals, and nothing becomes a line until you add it.

Do I need an account?

No. The calculator, invoices and estimates work on your phone with no account.

Add it up. Send the invoice.

Sumocat is free on iPhone, with no account needed to start.
