Estimates

Estimate app with deposits and online acceptance

Quote the job, add a deposit and milestones, and send it. When your client accepts, Sumocat records when and creates the invoices.

PRO marks the parts that are Sumocat Pro. The rest is free.

How it works

  1. 01

    Price the job

Add lines on the calculator or from your saved items, with units and taxes.

  2. 02

    Add a schedule

Split the total into a deposit and milestones. It always adds up to the total.

  3. 03

    Send and get accepted

Share the estimate. Your client accepts on its web page and billing starts.

Deposits and milestones

Each part of the schedule becomes its own invoice when it is due.

Expiration dates

An estimate shows when it expires, and an expired one can no longer be accepted.

Accepted online PRO

Your client taps Accept on the estimate page. The date and time are recorded and the deposit invoice is created.

Convert to an invoice

Turn any estimate into an invoice with the same client, lines and taxes.

Is the estimate feature free?

Yes. Creating estimates, payment schedules, PDFs, share links and converting to an invoice are free. Online acceptance is part of Sumocat Pro.

What does my client see?

A web page with your business name, the lines, taxes, total and schedule, and a PDF one tap away. With Pro it also has an Accept button.

Can I change an estimate after it is accepted?

Accepted estimates are locked so the agreed scope stays put. You can still update notes, the expiration date and milestone billing.

Add it up. Send the invoice.

Sumocat is free on iPhone, with no account needed to start.
